WOLCOTTVILLE — Betty M. Booher, 78, died Monday at her residence.

She married Charles J. Booher Dec. 27,1974, in Liberty Center. He preceded her in death July 20, 2000.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lana Kay (Scott) Zoll, Liberty Center, Brenda S. Barkdull, Bluffton, and Jenina Ann (Keith) Penrod, Broken Arrow, Okla.; son, Roger D. (Sharie) Mertz Jr., Montpelier; three stepdaughters, Kandace Lynn (Ray) Reber and Debra R. (Don) Rogers, both of Liberty Center, and Terri Ann (Michael) Parsons, Bluffton.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, where funeral services are set to begin at 10 a.m. Friday.

Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
