William Alan Crandall, 41, passed away Sunday as the result of an auto accident.
He was born on May 20, 1971 in Valparaiso, the son of Jay L. and Kay (Burrell) Crandall. Bill had worked as an electrician, enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, cooking, and gardening and was a member of the Order of the Moose.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Butler; children, Deena (T.J.) Stafford of Goshen and D.J. (Tish) Rhoades of Elkhart; grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, and Sarah; mother, Kay (Fred) Riley of Valparaiso; grandmother, Emma Burrell of Portage; mother-in-law, Teri Yoder of Goshen; father-in-law, Larry (Drew) Rhoades, New Paririe; three sisters, Sheryl (Tom) Clem of Knox, Tammy Crandall of Helena, Ala., and Michele (Todd) Allen of Palmerton, Pa.; and brother, Jay (Tracy) Crandall of Winamac; sister-in-law, Annette Gonzales of Goshen; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved pets, Benz, Thelma and Louise.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jay; brother, Michael Crandall; father-in-law, Rennie Yoder; grandfathers, Franklin Burrell and George Riley; and grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Czazasty.
Friends may call Friday from 10 a.m. CST until the noon funeral service at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso.
Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville.
