Kay E. Fisher, 69, formerly of Nappanee, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at her daughter’s residence.
She was born Dec. 21, 1943 to William and Lovina (Hochstetler) Stutzman.
She married John A. Fisher June 17, 1972 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death March 14, 2009.
Kay worked in data entry at Kinder in Elkhart and Stellite Coatings in Goshen. She attended Nappanee Missionary Church. Kay loved being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed computers, technology and loved birds.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle “Shelley” (Kevin) VanderMolen, Melbourne, Fla., and Dawn (Steve) Baxter, Bourbon; a son, Edward (Beatrice) Fisher, Elkhart; stepdaughters, Rose (Don) Butler and Lisa Wessler, both of Goshen; stepsons, Jerry (Shari) Fisher, Elkhart, and Scott Fisher, South Bend; several grandchildren; and a brother Ray Stutzman, Mentone.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lora Stutzman,
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nappanee Missionary Church. Officiating will be Pastors Justin Lamison and Norm Reimer.
Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
