LIGONIER — Maxine M. Christner, 92, died Monday morning, April 7, at Avalon Village, Ligonier.
She was born June 15, 1921, in Goshen, to Roy and Abbey (Hite) Klase.
On Sept. 11, 1944, in Goshen, she married Glen E. Christner. He died June 11, 1980.
She is survived by two sons, Chuck Christner, Syracuse, and Harold Smith, Goshen; a daughter, Betty (Wayne) Price, Goshen; five grandchildren, Tina Christner, April Price, Gary Price, Ed Christner and David Price; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Klase, New Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Leon Christner; and two brothers, Dale and Chuck Klase.
Mrs. Christner was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed time with her family.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial service, Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Timothy T. Yoder will officiate.
Burial of cremated remains will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
