David was a longtime Certified Financial Planner and was currently the managing partner at Guidance Wealth Financial Services in Elkhart. He was a longtime member of the St. Mark Missionary Church, where he taught Sunday school for adults and middle school teens, was active in small groups as a leader, and along with his wife, Linda, served for many years as the children’s Bible quiz team coach. He and his family were also involved with several mission trips to South America and were planning a mission trip to Europe later this summer.
David was full of life and laughter, and will be remembered for his leadership by example, his outgoing character and his ability to teach through listening and encouragement. His devotion to his family, his faith and those he served as a financial planner, will be forever remembered. David found the time to balance work and home life, and loved traveling, spending time outdoors camping and enjoying the quiet moments at home with his wife and daughters.
