GREENVILLE, Ohio — Pauline Powell, 72, of Greenville and formerly of Union City, died Thursday evening at Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio.

She is survived by her sons, Dean (Sue) Powell of Nappanee, Ind., Clarke (Lori) Powell of Portland, Ind., and Tony (Angie) Powell of Leesburg, Ind.

Visitation is set for one hour prior to the 2 p.m. Tuesday funeral service at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio.

Burial will follow in the Snell Cemetery near Union City, Ohio.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
