SOUTH BEND — Cleo P. Pickley, 94, died Monday at Sanctuary at St. Pauls in South Bend.

On Aug. 9, 1947 in Elkhart, she married Leonard “Bud” Pickley. He died May 1, 2011.

Surviving are sons, Leonard (Vicky) Pickley of Decatur, Ill. and James (Vicky) Pickley of Mishawaka.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, with Rosary to be prayed at 5:45 p.m. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
