SYRACUSE — Craig Lee Whitehead, 58, died Thursday at 12:50 p.m. at his residence.
He was born April 18, 1954 in Goshen, to Richard and Doris (Lehman) Whitehead.
He is survived by his mother and father; mother of his children, Cindra Swinehart; five children, Reagan (Bradley) Nyce, Syracuse, Dee Ann Whitehead, Oaktown, Dustin (Jessica) Whitehead, Rockville, Samantha (Nathan) Steffen, New Paris, and Matthew Whitehead, Goshen; two brothers, Barry (Debra) Whitehead, Syracuse, and Brett (Diana) Whitehead, New Paris; and six grandchildren.
He worked at L&M Electric for more than 20 years and was involved in fast-pitch softball and bowling leagues around the area. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1972 and was a member of New Paris Church of the Brethren.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where a funeral service will take place Monday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Stan Godfrey of New Paris Church of the Brethren will officiate.
Burial will be in Solomon Creek Cemetery, Syracuse.
