LAGRANGE — Charles E. “Ed” Sawyer, 45, of LaGrange, died Friday in the emergency room at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1968 in Kendallville, to the Rev. William J. and Delores J. (Ritchie) Sawyer.

On July 3, 1998 he married Vada Sparkman in South Milford. She survives in LaGrange.

Also surviving are his mother in LaGrange; four daughters, Ciara and Camryn Sawyer of LaGrange, Heather Lovely of Indianapolis and Bambi (Frank) Pasztor of Kendallville.

Visitation will be held at the South Milford Independent Church Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. service. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Burial will take place in Woodruff Cemetery, rural Wolcottville.
