AUBURN — Thomas McCullough, 80, passed away Monday at Dekalb Health in Auburn.
He was born in Whitley County to John Thomas and Marion Etta (Rosenogle) McCullough Dec. 29, 1932. He honorably served his country from 1950 to 1953 in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
On June 11, 1954, he married Judith Hire at Nazarene Church in Churubusco.
He retired from Dana Corp. with more than 42 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, his grandchildren and friends at Dari-Point in Ligonier.
He shared with his wife, Judith, a family of three children, Larry McCullough of Albion, Lani (Warren) Elliott of Fort Wayne, and Lynn (Kathy) McCullough of Ligonier. Mr. McCullough is also survived by a sister, Virginia, of Ligonier. He also had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, Ellen, Dave, Betty, Geraldine, Roy and Max.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Stone’s Hill Community Church, 151 Stone’s Hill Road, Ligonier, where a funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Revs. Joey Nelson and Hubert Schmucker will officiate.
Burial will be in Merriam Christian Cemetery in Merriam.
