GOSHEN — Carl R. Huber, 80, Goshen, died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday at his home.
He was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Elkhart County to Vernon B. and Alva (Culp) Huber.
On Sept. 10, 1955, he married Barbara (Sellers) Huber. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debra (Robert) Cunningham of Wakarusa and Susan Chell of Valparaiso; a son, Jerry M. Huber of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Erma Edelman of Wakarusa; a brother, Earl (Beverly) Huber of Wakarusa; four grandchildren, Misty Cunningham of Elkhart, Robert Cunningham II of Bristol, Elizabeth (David) Schultz of Mishawaka and Rebekah (Nick) Whitehead of Goshen; and four great-grandchildren, Dakotah Cunningham of Elkhart, Emily Hill of Elkhart, Maci Schultz of Mishawaka and Brayden Whitehead of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked at CTS in Elkhart as a screw machine operator, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the quarter-century club at CTS. He enjoyed traveling, camping with his family and watching football, especially Notre Dame. He enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Gus.
Visitation is set for Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday funeral service at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Pastor Rob Dauber of Wakarusa Missionary Church will officiate.
Burial will take place in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
