Gerald L. ‘Jerry’ Crowl Jr.

SYRACUSE — Gerald L. “Jerry” Crowl Jr., 63, passed away Wednesday at his residence.

He was born Dec. 4, 1950 to Gerald and Ruth (Behnke) Crowl Sr.

On Feb. 4, 1993, he married Colleen Mishler who survives.

Born and raised in the area, Jerry was a local farmer and owner of Crowl’s Landing. He liked John Deere tractors and enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being around and taking care of people. Jerry loved his dogs, Nick and Bo. He was a loving son, husband and loyal friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 20 years, Colleen; a son, Michael Crowl of Texas; and his mother, Ruth Crowl of Syracuse. Also surviving are three sisters, Carolyn Haggard of North Webster, Nancy Warrick of Elkhart and Sandra Bromley of Alpine, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sr.

A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. There will be two hours of calling prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Wawasee FFA in care of Mishler Funeral Home.
