SPRINGS, Pa. — Paul J. Peck, 102, died Sunday at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale.
Born Aug. 31, 1910 in Fort Hill, he was the son of the late Jonas and Mary (Reitz) Peck. He was also preceded in death by two wives, Lola (Livengood) Peck and Edna (Geiger) Otto Peck; a son, Gale Peck; a daughter, Carolyn Peck; and a stepson, Glen Otto.
Mr. Peck was a self-employed milk hauler for 30 years. He was a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren, where he was also a deacon and a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Retarded Children.
He is survived by two sons, Ronal Peck and wife, Rebecca, Springs, Terry Peck and wife, Velma, Goshen, Ind.; daughter, Sharon Hahn, Auburn, Ind.; two stepsons, Chester Otto and wife, Janet, Accident, Md. and Blair Otto and wife, LouAnn, Berlin; stepdaughter, Gloria Borton, Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes PA, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
Interment will be in the Maple Glen Cemetery.
