Sherry Jo Meyers, 48, died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at her residence.
She was born May 21, 1965 in Elkhart, to Harold and Virginia (Holaway) Weldy. She attended Penn High School.
She is survived by her three children, Justin Williams (Tim Flickinger), Wakarusa, Stephanie Meyers, Nappanee, and Heather Meyers, Wakarusa; mother, Virginia Weldy, Wakarusa; three sisters, Sara (Mike) Reynolds, Wakarusa, Sue (Dave) Weaver, Gulfport, Miss., and Sandra Weldy, Richmond, Va.; and three brothers, Henry (Judy) Weldy, White Pigeon, Mich., Dan Weldy, Syracuse, and Mike (Cindie) Weldy, Wakarusa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Weldy, and her stepfather, Joe Skiles.
She worked at Forest River (previously Champion and Firan) in Elkhart for 29 years. She was a member of Holdeman Mennonite Church in Wakarusa.
Sherry had a big heart, always looking for ways to help everyone. She was the best mom ever.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa.
A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holdeman Mennonite Church, Wakarusa.
Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery.
