Levi Harold Bontrager, 82, died at 6 p.m. EST at Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK, Canada, as the result of injuries received in an accident while delivering recreational vehicles. He was born July 18, 1931 in Arthur, Ill., to Henry and Mary (Plank) Bontrager.
He is survived by his two daughters, Eva (Tom) Kurtz and Dorothy (Lee) Bontrager, both of Middlebury; two sons, Ken (Liz) Bontrager of Elkhart, and Steve Bontrager of Middlebury; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Lydia (Stanley) Yoder of Middlebury, and Anna (Ed) Yoder of Kalona, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Joan Bontrager; and two brothers, Edwin and Daniel Bontrager.
Levi was self-employed delivering RVs and was mechanically inclined, able to work in several different fields.
Visitation will take place Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jason Profitt will officiate.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
