LaGRANGE — Donald Lee Stanfield, 72, died Friday at Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville.

In South Bend Sept. 24, 1966, he married Janice Kazmierzak who survives in LaGrange.

Also surviving are two daughters, Roxane (Chad) Cerda, Indianapolis, and Rebecca Stanfield, Coral Springs, Fla.

A memorial visitation is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
