Harvey Stouder
May 8, 1911-Oct. 28, 2009
TULSA, Okla. — Harvey Stouder, 16407 E. Third St., died Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. at his home in Tulsa. He had been in failing health, especially in the last two months.
He was born May 8, 1911, in Goshen, Ind., to Harvey and LuElla B. (Walters) Stouder. He moved from Goshen to Tulsa in 1989.
He married Marie Krause in Goshen, June 23, 1950. She survives in Tulsa.
Other survivors include his daughter, Patty (William) Hall, Walnut Creek, Calif.; two granddaughters, Kim and Laurel; and a great-granddaughter, Megan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Ted, Raymond, LaMar and Paul A. Stouder.
He and his wife did landscaping work as Stouder Landscaping. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 985.
Graveside services and burial will take place Monday at 10 a.m. at West Goshen Cemetery. Tim Yoder will lead the service. Military honors will be given by the veterans of the VFW, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Tulsa.
