Curtis Lee Henderson

Curtis Lee Henderson, 77, 402 Carter Road, Goshen, died Sunday at 3:45 p.m. at his home. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Aug. 18.
He was born Feb. 6, 1932 in Sulligent, Ala., to Grody R. and Minnie (Carter) Henderson. He came to this area in 1955.
He worked at Homecrest for 23½ years as a special saw man. He belonged to the Wetland Archery Club, Syracuse, and Solomon Creek United Methodist Church. Curtis loved his garden, archery and crafts, such as building bird feeders and snowmen. He was an avid hunter.
He married Josephine Mohler Aug. 18, 1978, in Goshen. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Dwana (Charlie) Baucom, Columbus, Miss.; three sons, Scott (Andrea) Henderson, and Ricky (Tawnya) Henderson, both of Middlebury, and Mike (Melody) Feaster, Warsaw; 13 grandchildren, Zac, Broc, Camrey and Lexx Henderson, Ryan Baucom, Tammy and Troy Feaster, Joni Goshert, Shauna Perkins, Amy Hollinger, Jeff, Gerrad and Josh Galloway; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Etheleen Prince, Goshen, Vergie (Jim) Chism and Clifford D. Henderson, both of Columbus, Miss.; and a brother, Ollie (Linda) Henderson, Vernon, Ala.
He was preceded in death by three children, Danny Henderson, Ricky Feaster and Gene Feaster.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service will take place Friday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Carldean Merrifield of Solomon Creek United Methodist Church will lead the service.
Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Goshen Care at Home Hospice or Solomon Creek United Methodist Church.
