LIGONIER — Reba E. Sandlin, 91, died Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at Avalon Village in Ligonier.
She was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Etna Green to Noah and Ethel (Hamman) Seniff. She was a lifetime resident of this area, and worked for Sorg Products in Ligonier for several years.
She married Russell Bellman, who died in 1953. She then married Jason “Hap” Vanette, who died in 1968. She then married Green Sandlin, who preceded her in death in March 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Jerry) Ray of Syracuse and Cindy (Melvin) Coyle of Ligonier; five grandchildren, Shaun (Matt) Mawhorter of Bristol, Shane (Lisa) Ray of Brownsburg, Stacy (Travis) Steele of Ligonier, Jeremy (Kristi) Coyle of Crestview, Fla., and Heather (Wayne) Morris of Kimmell; nine great-grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Bridgette, Madison, Alison, Walker, Trevor, Aiden and Alexis; and a stepsister, Kathryn Scott of Fort Wayne.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Shannon Bellman; and a brother, Owen Seniff.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, with Larry Baker officiating.
