INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Georgia Mast, formerly of Carmel, died Oct. 1, in Indianapolis.
She was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Nappanee, to Howard and Minnie (Gibson) Moore.
On Feb. 11, 1938, she married Albert Mast in Goshen. He died March 13, 1983.
She owned and operated Georgia’s Beauty Salon in Goshen for 25 years. She was a former member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren, Goshen, and the Sebring Brethren Church, Sebring, Fla.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cuba Venturini, Paso Robles, Calif., and Dawn Nisley, Carmel; one son, Darby Mast, Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marjory (Manford) Wise, and Norma (Orlo) Berkey, both of Goshen, and Betty (George) Green, Bluffton; two brothers, James (Ruth) Moore, Elkhart, and Donald (Lena) Moore, Berne.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily Russell and Jean Blem; and two brothers, Richard Moore and Forrest Moore.
There will be no visitation or funeral.
Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
