Myrtle ‘Marie’ Eckhart

July 19, 1923-Oct. 5, 2008

ELKHART, Ind. — Myrtle “Marie” Eckhart, 85, died Sunday at 6:36 a.m. at the home of her daughter.

She was married to Richard D. Eckhart, May 30, 1942, in Elkhart, He died Sept. 14, 2000.

Surviving are her daughters, Diane M. (John) Foghino, Three Rivers, Mich., and Cathy L. (Dennis) Stouder, Elkhart; and a son, Thomas A. “Tom” (LeAnn) Eckhart, Fruita, Colo.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart, and one hour prior to the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beulah Missionary Church, Goshen.

Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.
