FORT WAYNE — Nella M. Adams, 74, died Sunday at her residence.

She was born May 28, 1935 in Norton, Va., and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl B. Adams Sr.; daughter, Sharon (Rick) Maynard, Carthage, Mo.; sons, Gary (Dorothy) Adams, Monticello, the Rev. Carl B. (Elizabeth) Adams Jr., Goshen, and Robert (Becky) Adams, Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Glenda) Wilson, New Bern, N.C.; sisters, Hazel Nix, Mobile, Ala., Ann Sturgill, Churchill, Tenn., Sarah Dotson and Berniece (Forester) Adams, both of Wise, Va., and Kay Wilson, Norton, Va.

Funeral services took place today at First Assembly of God Church, 1400 W. Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, with burial in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.

Calling was Tuesday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are Spirit of Faith Fellowship, Goshen, or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
