F. James Miller

F. James Miller, 69, of LaGrange, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at his residence.

He was the Vice-President of National Purchasing at Skyline in Elkhart, IN. He had worked for Skyline for 51 years. He was a former member of the LaGrange Exchange Club and attended the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange. He spent his lifetime living in LaGrange.

He was born on March 17, 1939, in LaGrange County, IN, to Lee J. and Ruth (Troyer) Miller. They preceded him in death.

He married Donna B. (Bachman) on Jan. 7, 1961, in LaGrange, IN. She survives in LaGrange.

Surviving are a daughter, Natalie Glick of LaGrange, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, J. Mitchell and Sherri Miller of Weirsdale, FL; one granddaughter, Lindy Miller; five grandsons, Jimmy Miller, Austin, Adison and Avery Glick and Nate Hicks; four sisters and two brother-in-laws, Dorcas Eash of Goshen, IN, Martha and Loren Hartman of Camby, OR, Esther and Ervin Miller of Portland, OR, and Mary Catherine Burhen of LaGrange, IN; four brothers and sister-in-laws, David Lee and Barbara Miller of Gallatin, TN, Silas J. and Grace Miller of Portland, OR, John L. and Maxine Miller of McPherson, KS, and Abram J. and Jackie Miller of Goshen, IN; 14 nieces and 18 nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange with Rev. Chris Danielson, Rev. Ray Bachman and Terry Miller officiating.

There is no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Everett Bachman, John Clerou, Austin Glick, Adison Glick, Nate Hicks, Jimmy Miller and Mitchell Miller. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange, IN.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or LaGrange First United Methodist Church.
