Edmond Howard Allison

Edmond Howard Allison, 97, 1225 Greencroft Drive, formerly of Swartz Creek, Mich., died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, at Greencroft Health Care.
He was born April 15, 1912 in Scott to Fred and Bessie (Howard) Allison.
He was married June 1, 1946 to Rose Mary Krizan at Flint, Mich. She preceded him in death.
He worked at GM Buick from 1936 to 1971, retiring as an inspector. He was a life member of the Flushing VFW 4666, and a member of Swartz Creek Senior Center, Pierce Center, Flint Travel Club (KER), DAV, Swartz Creek AARP, Swartz Creek Fine Arts, local union 599, and played baseball in a league at Shipshewana.
Survivors include a sister, Irene Weirich, Goshen, four nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Evangeline Troyer and June Nelson.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Meetinghouse at Greencroft, where services are set for 3 p.m. that day. Officiating will be the Rev. George Nantz of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
Burial will be in Pinetree Cemetery, Corunna, Mich.
