ELKHART — Rosie L. Smith, 79, died Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at Elkhart General Hospital.

She is survived by her six daughters, Rosetta Andrews, Lena Scott, Blonda Beard, Betty (Robert) Beadin, Beatrice Haynes and Jeanetta (Lloyd) Thompson, all of Elkhart; son, Hosea Williams, Elkhart; and stepdaughter, Earlie Rollins, Minnesota.

Friends may call one hour prior the funeral service Monday at noon at Canaan Baptist Church, Elkhart.

Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.

Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
