Ruby Yoder Wyse

Aug. 30, 1921-June 25, 2008

ARCHBOLD, Ohio — Ruby Yoder Wyse was born in Elkhart County, Ind., on Aug. 30, 1921 and died June 25, 2008 at the age of 86.

She was the fifth child of 10 born to Daniel and Magdalena Bontrager Yoder.

She married Ora Wyse Jan. 1, 1943. She lived most of her married life in Archbold, Ohio. She volunteered for many years and her hobbies were sewing, quilt making, and gardening.

Ruby is survived by four children, Larry (Donna) Wyse, Archbold; Gene (Karianne) Wyse, Kearney, Neb.; Anna (Bill) Fisher, Syracuse, Ind.; and Susie Wyse, Milan, Ohio. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Catherine Miller, Oakland, Md.; and Maggie (Gerald) Yoder, Mary (Alvin) Bontrager, and Lucille Blue, all of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ora, brothers John and Orva, and sisters Altaa Yoder, Ida Mae Yoder and Elma Stauffer.
