Dean L. Ernest Sr.

June 9, 1922-June 22, 2009

Dean Lewis Ernest Sr., 87, Goshen, died Monday at his residence.

He married Doris Maxine Mansfield June 9, 1942, in Elkhart. She died Feb. 8, 2008.

He is survived by four daughters, Rebecca (Duane) Tepe, Linda Crossman, Mary Bachert and Joyce (Harold “Turk”) Hargrove, all of Goshen; and three sons, Dean “Louie” (Rose Mary) Ernest, Powers, Mich., John (Cindy) Ernest, Mishawaka, and Kenneth Ernest, Goshen.

Visitation is set for Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, where the funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
