Eugene L. King

— Eugene L. King, 69, formerly of Goshen, passed away at his son Daniel’s home in Leesburg Sunday, May 4, 2008.
He was born Nov. 6, 1938, in Flint, Mich., to Elmer and Flossie (Morningstar) King.
He is survived by a daughter, Christie, Pierceton; two sons, Daniel, Leesburg, and William, Pierceton; and six grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Glenn (Barbara), Goshen, and Melvin, Elkhart; and two sisters, Evelyn (Lewis) Hartman, Goshen, and Berneda (Don) Morse, Dunlap.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harold, Elmer Jr. and Darwin.
Eugene was retired and has been in failing health for the last couple of years.
Eugene graduated from Goshen High School in 1958. He was active in football and baseball.
A service is planned for Saturday at Ox Bow Haus at 11 a.m.
Cremation will take place.
