KOKOMO, Ind. — Larry Levon Tusing, 63, passed away Thursday due to complications of central nervous system lymphoma while in the company of his daughters,
He was born in 1944 in Warsaw to Elvin and Etta Lucile (Pease) Tusing. His parents preceded him in death.
Larry was raised in Nappanee, later serving his country honorably for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was an electrician at Delphi Electronics, retiring in 2006.
Larry was a member of the Kokomo Astronomy Club, a supporter of WFYI television and a huge NASCAR fan.
Larry is survived by four daughters, Pamela Feagler (Jim McWhorter), Cindy Schieck, Kristine (Keith) Hubbell, and Jennifer Tusing; four granddaughters, Rheannon, Kayla, Holly, Leah; former wife and friend, Sandy (Montel) Tusing; sister, Janice (Henry) Gleason, El Paso, Texas; and brother, Steve (Sharon) Tusing, Nappanee.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 to noon, with the funeral service starting at noon at Ellers Mortuary, Kokomo.
He will be laid to rest with military honors at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Monday at 11 a.m.
