ELKHART, Ind. — Mildred I. “Millie” Kentner, 83, died at 5:12 p.m. Monday of natural causes at Elkhart General Hospital.
She married Rex R. Kentner June 5, 1943, in Elkhart. He died June 29, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Newcomer-Pippy, Elkhart; and two sons, Ken Kentner, Tampa, Fla., and Bill Kentner, Elkhart.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home and Crematory, Elkhart. At 3:45 p.m., there will be a vigil service at the funeral home.
The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum.
