WAKARUSA, Ind. — Brenda L. Hall., 69, C.R. 38, died Saturday at 12:45 a.m. at her residence.
She was born Feb. 20, 1939, to Robert and Reta (Stanley) Struble, in Elkhart.
She married Royce L. Hall, Jan. 21, 1958. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Jody (Mike) Schutz, Nappanee; her son, Bryan (Brenda) Hall, Nappanee; her mother, Reta Struble, Wakarusa; sister, Sheila (Roger) Kindy, Goshen; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Weaver, Venice Fla. and Ester BeMiller, Elkhart; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She was a 1957 graduate of Central High School. She attended airline school in Omaha, Neb., and took a civil defense test in 1957.
She worked for the U.S. Navy defense department in Washington, D.C., the insurance department of St. Joe Valley Bank, and Rohrer Weldy Insurance Agency, where she semi-retired in 1995 and fully retired in March 2007.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and bird watching.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ed Geleske of Wakarusa United Methodist Church will conduct the service.
Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
