— NEW BUFFALO, Mich. — William J. Deputy, 63, formerly of Elkhart, died Monday evening at the University of Chicago Hospital, Chicago., Ill.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert J. (Mary Pat) Deputy, Elkhart, Thomas M. (Peggy) Deputy, Dumfries, Va., Richard A. Deputy, Sarasota, Fla., Lawrence P. (Sherrod) Deputy, Bristol, and Peter J. (Lisa) Deputy, Granger.
Friends may call Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart, where a vigil service will take place at 4:30 p.m.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Elkhart, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
Burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
