Art for Everyone event to feature more than 200 pieces

Featuring more than 200 art pieces by more than 75 artists, Art for Everyone: A Small Works Project will also include live entertainment and an art-trading hour, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main St. VIP admission includes snacks, specialty drinks and first access to the Beauty and Bowls art exhibit.

The Dean's List to support After Ours album release

Local jazz combo The Dean's List, including members of Goshen's Lalo Cura, will support South Bend "head-nod jazz" duo After Ours during the band's Aug. 18 album release show, from 7-10 p.m. inside soUUnds South Bend (First Unitarian Church), 801 E. Washington St. South Bend artist Lauren Steinhofer will paint live during the concert.

A spin on sideshows at Tinderbox Circus

The adults-only Tinderbox Circus will perform from 8-10 p.m. Sept. 14 at Art House, 211 S. Main St., Floor 2. The event will offer a contemporary spin on classic 20th-century circus sideshows. Acts will include “The Human Blockhead, The Human Crazy Straw/Mental Floss … Extreme Waist Cinching, Balancing on Wine Glasses, Fire Eating” and more, according to organizers. Art House will have beer, wine and cider available for purchase.
