Falcons host regional

The Fairfield Falcons will host Fort Wayne Concordia Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a Class 3A regional.

Fairfield defeated Tippecanoe Valley 24-17-, 25-15, 25-11 to win its sectional and Concordia topped Fort Wayne Dwenger 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 27-29, 16-15 in its sectional finale.

The regional champion advances to a four-team semistate Saturday at Plymouth

Warriors capture sectional crown

The Westview Warriors were 19-25, 25-23, 25-11, 25-16 winners over Bremen Saturday in the championship of the Class 2A sectional at Central Noble

Westview (24-9) will host Woodlan (24-7) in a one-game regional Tuesday at 7 p.m. The winner moves on to a four-game regional Saturday at Bremen.

Central takes title at Warsaw

The Elkhart Central Blue Blazers defeated Elkhart Memorial 25-15, 17-25, 25-18, 25-15 Saturday in the championship of the Class 4A sectional at Warsaw.

It’s Central’s second sectional crown. The other was in 1973.

Central (28-3) travels to Penn (29-8) for a one game regional Tuesday at 7 p.m.
