Tee Ball

Eby Ford Mustangs: Cheuka Berger Turner, Zander Hewitt and Tristan Black had solid hits. Making good fielding plays were Alexis Moro, Jaiden Medina and Regan Bradskey.

Minor Baseball

Safe Kids Pirates 6, K & K Custom Rangers 4: Diego Torres and Josh Haimes turned in an outstanding pitching effort as the Pirates won the league tournament. Zane Stoll, Josh Haimes, Torres, Liam Schwartz, Andrew Peterson, Josafath Hernandez and Sergio Velasco had key hits for the winners. Ben Bontrager Singer had two hits for the Rangers, Braxton Kincaid, Logan Hoogenboom and Daniel Welling one each. The Pirates were 1-6 at one point early in the season. The Rangers, regular season champions, finished with a 15-2 overall record.

Stutsman Dentistry Brewers 14, Rockies 4: Devin Graber had three hits for the Brewers, Bodie Hunt and Kalvin Russell both two. Defensive stars were David Castaneda, Landon Nissley and Lukas Bontreger Waite. Brandon Rivera, Pablo Sandoval and Raul Gomez each had two hits for the Rockies. Cruz Garcia, Nathan Parson and Riley Babcock played good defense.

Supreme Yankees 15, R.S. Pest Diamondbacks 6: Reece Fisher homered and tripled for the Yankees. Drew Hogan and Mateo Machuca both had four hits while Ethan Rosario and Nemuel Campos were top fielders. Jacob Neer had three hits for the Diamondbacks, Brian Gonzales, Wyatt Fisher and Will Nisley two each.

Yankees 16, Brewers 6: Reece Fisher had a homer among four hits for the Yankees. Mateo Muchuca, Drew Hogan, Sam Pena and Ezequiel Reyes Moreno also had four hits each. Defensive stars were Hogan, Machuca, Nemuel Campos and Kaden Sheets. Leading the Brewers were Moises Gutierrez, David Hart, Matthew Talley and Kalvin Russell with multiple hits; Gavin Hoskins and Adrian Rakowski fielding.

Major Baseball

Terry’s Carpet Cleaning Cubs 10, J & J Marketing White Sox 5: Jacob Haimes was the winning pitcher with relief help from Chava Garcia as the Cubs claimed the league tourney crown. Collin Hewitt had two hits for the Cubs, James Paetkau, Haimes and Joseph Burkheimer one each. Noah Caouette, Charlie Collins and William Koshmider had two hits each for the Sox and Austin Bontrager one.

J & J Marketing White Sox 12, Gleason Industrial A’s 8: Michael Pinarski had two hits and an RBI, Brian Berkey, Jordan Charles and Alberto Rivera each a hit for the Sox. Winning pitcher William Troyer had five strikeouts and relief hurler Collins two. For the A’s, Austin Bontrager had two hits and two RBI, Ethan Barnes a hit and two RBI, Noah Caouette, Collins and William Koshmider each a hit.

Rookie Softball

Subway Glory: Kylee Brown, Maya Abbott, Riley Sloan and Ashley Hernandez led the hitting effort. Abbott, Chloe Diaz and Hernandez were cited for fielding.

Minor Softball

Battlecats over Monteith Wildcats: Leading hitters were Alyssa Wesley, Kaylin Grose, Alyssa Destefano, Anne Troyer, Sasha Rivera, Brianna Blosser, Kassy Miller, Kathryn Wertz and Sara Breniser of the Battlecats; Ariel Nissley, Kayleigh McKee, Alexis Navarro, Grace Vance and MiKayla Sutherland of the Wildcats.



Middlebury

Machine Pitch Baseball

Quality Driveaway 7, Pletcher Sales 6: Sam Frost ripped three hits for QD and Justin Puckett two. Jonathon Eichstad had three and Dominick Reyes two for Pletcher.

Edward Jones 8, Aero Corp. 7: Adam Simons and Evan Nay both had two hits for Jones and Jack Goodman one. Tanner Barber singled, doubled, tripled and homered for Aero.

Family Dentistry 12, Middlebury Fire Dept. 11: Andrew Gerber had five hits, Peyton Yoder four, Mason Floria three and Kyle Deal one for Dentistry. One of Yoder’s was the game winner. Sam Trick homered for Fire Department, Joshua DeMont had three hits and Parker Stahly two.

Quality 11, OSMC 7: Ty Miller had three hits for Quality, Quinn Parks and Logan Hooley both two.

Minor Baseball

Hilltop 12, People’s 10: Ethan Gascho and Brody Pratt had two hits apiece, Nick Ganczak and Mitchell Troyer each one for Hilltop. Keenan Story (five strikeouts) and Collin Williams (three) pitched. Alex Cranston, Drew Fletcher and Braden Yoder had hits for People’s.

Max Myers 11, People’s Federal Savings 5: Christian Roberts and Clayton Brown both had two hits for Myers and Oliver Eveler one. Eveler, Roberts and Tucker Bontrager pitched. Zach Gibbs and Josh Beard hit safely for PFS.

Minor Softball

Serv Pro 18, Ace Hardware 11: Arin Miller and winning pitcher Morgan Litwiller both had three hits for Serv Pro.

Serv Pro 23, Contemporary Images 18: Litwiller had five hits and four RBI, Adena Meskowski four hits and Grace Miller two for S-P. Litwiller and Jaden McClane pitched. Sydney Stephens slapped two hits for CI, Samantha Mathew and Hailey Reynolds both one.
