GOSHEN — Tiffany Fisher has been named an assistant coach in the women’s volleyball program at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.

Fisher is a graduate of Westview High School and Purdue University. She was a middle blocker from 2008-11 at Purdue and a student assistant coach in 2012.

An honorable mention All-America selection, All-Mideast Region and unanimous All-Big Ten selection as a senior, Fisher led Purdue to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Sweet 16 berths and an Elite Eight appearance in 2010.

In her four years in the Old Gold and Black, Fisher was an efficient offensive threat, while also stopping opponents at the net. She ranks third all-time in career hitting percentage with a .322 effort, and owns the ninth-place spot in career block assists with 322.  The 6-2 middle blocker also led the team in service aces each of her last two seasons.

Fisher registered an .875 hitting effort against Air Force on Sept. 2, 2011, including 14 kills in 16 errorless swings, ranking third on Purdue’s individual match record list and as the best effort in a three-set match (15-19 attempts) in school history.
