Fairfield coach Troy Beachy said the difference in the game was simple.
“Westview physically handled us tonight,” Beachy said.
The Warriors outrebounded the Falcons, 38-17.
The Warriors will host Prairie Heights Friday night in a semifinal contest. The Panthers defeated Churubusco, 57-50 in another quarterfinal contest Wednesday night.

Earlier, a 12-0 third-quarter run helped the Falcon girls eliminate Westview and move on to Friday night’s semifinals.
Fairfield led just 19-15 at intermission but outscored the Warriors 16-10 in the third.
“Our girls are very coachable,” Fairfield coach Brodie Garber said. “We told the girls that the first few minutes of the third quarter were going to be critical.”
Katie Yates and Alexis Zook led the Falcons with 10 points apiece. Jenna Kieper added eight. Brooke Wigner and Maria McCoy paced Westview with 12 points each.
Fairfield (10-2) will face Prairie Heights, a 67-57 winner over Churubusco Wednesday night in another quarterfinal contest, Friday night at 6 p.m. at Westview.
At halftime, Fairfield officials honored retiring volleyball coach Carla Hershberger.
