Fairfield wins home test with Angola



The Fairfield Lady Falcons, playing at home Tuesday night, posted a 46-29 Northeast Corner Conference win over Angola.

No box score was submitted to The News on this game.

Fairfield, 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the NECC, visits Prairie Heights on Saturday night.



Westview rallies to edge Northridge



Westview rallied in the fourth quarter at home Tuesday night for a 44-42 non-conference triumph over Northridge.

Jordan Slabach had 23 points and six steals for the winning Warriors; Olivia Fought eight points and Malarie Feller seven; and Candice Stutzman three assists.

Northridge got 14 points from Lauren Adams, 13 by Tyann Schlabach and 12 from Leah Meyer.



Concord topples Cavemen by three



Concord, playing at its home McCuen Gym court Tuesday night, edged Mishawaka 41-38.

Khristian Hildreth led CHS with 19 points, Kim Swain scored eight, Ashlee Powell and Trenee Brownlee both five.

Powell had eight rebounds and Brownlee seven, Lindsey Ogle and Powell both three steals.



West Noble latest victim of Wawasee



Undefeated and top-ranked (Class 3A) Wawasee captured a 57-36 non-conference decision Tuesday night over West Noble in Syracuse.

Taylor Goshert scored 24 points for the Lady Warriors and Brennan McAdams 12. Brianne Mershman netted 17 and Chelsea Hite 9 for the Chargers.

Wawasee hosts Fort Wayne Canterbury on Saturday with junior varsity at 1 p.m.



EN defeats Lakers



Lakeland lost to East Noble, 51-27, Tuesday night in LaGrange.

Jamie Coffman scored 10 points and Shelby Heller seven for the Lakers. Both had seven rebounds and Sami Jacobs two steals.

East Noble won the JV game, 29-21. Carley Thompson led the Lakers with six points.
