Blazers sink Redskins

The Goshen Lady Redskins dropped a 49-42 non-conference decision Tuesday night at Elkhart Central.

Olivia Zepeda had nine points and 10 rebounds for GHS; Britta Abney eight points; Natalie Newell seven points and 13 rebounds; and Lauren Shaffer seven points.

Goshen, 1-2, visits Penn on Saturday with the varsity game at 6 preceding a boys varsity contest.

The Redskin girls junior varsity defeated Central, 37-22, as Hailey Warrick had eight points, Randi Swartzentruber six points and seven rebounds, Maranda Reed and Liana Yoder both six points.
