Triton trims Bruins

The Bethany Christian Bruins lost to the Triton Trojans, 54-31, Monday on the south side of Goshen.

Jenae Rupp scored seven points for BC, Marla zumFelde six, Ali Hochstetler five, Erin Helmuth and Sarah Lederman both four, Mattie Lehman three and Chris Minter two.

Rupp and Hochstetler both had six rebounds and Rupp two steals.

Bethany Lemler and Taryn Cooper both scored 14 points for Triton.

The visitors won the JV game, 39-20. Malaina Weldy netted six points for Bethany, Ali Hochstetler and Sarah Brew both four.
