Concord QB throws 5 TD passes in sectional win

LOGANSPORT — Anthony Yoder was a passing star Friday night in a Concord High School sectional Class 4A football victory.

Yoder threw five touchdown passes, completing 12 of 19 throws for 266 yards.

Logan Draus caught three of the scoring aerials and accounted for 123 yards.

LaRone Smith scored on a 4-yard run and 11-yard reception and Kyle Gavin on a 6-yard catch.

Yoder also had 73 yards rushing and scored a touchdown.

The Minutemen, 7-3, host a second-round game next Friday.
