Goshen, Concord, Baugo, Middlebury Majors win

Five more Major Baseball games were played Thursday evening in the District 14 Little League tournament at various sites.

Goshen was a 9-0 winner over Elkhart FOP as Trevor Weldy struck out 15. Sylas Buller homered, Tyler Mast tripled, D.J. Ambrose doubled and Juan Castillo had three singles for Goshen.

Middlebury edged Osolo, 2-1, as Deric haynes outdueled Dominic Cataldo. Steven Frye singled twice for the Middies. Jordyn Bontrager homered for Osolo.

Concord rocked Bristol, 15-1, with Matt Williams the winning pitcher. Kenny Long had three singles for Bristol.

Baugo blanked Edwardsburg, 6-0, as Phillip Hanna fanned nine during his shutout. Konner Chafin homered for Baugo, Jake Fuerbringer had two hits, Nate Thompson and Carter Gill doubles.

Cleveland trimmed Mishawaka, 11-5, as Nick Mustak was the winning hurler.
