Northridge senior Lyndsay McBride cards 80 at women’s open

Lyndsay McBride of Bristol is tied for 29th place after the opening round Monday of the Pepsi Indiana Women’s Open at The Legends of Indiana Golf Course near Franklin.

The Northridge High School graduate who will be a senior at the University of Indianapolis this fall carded a 38-42—80.

Brittany Kelly of Fishers and Aimee Neff of Carmel share the lead at 71.

Julia Potter of Granger is tied for fifth at 75 and Emily Johnson of Winona Lake 15th at 77.
