— The Goshen Lady Redskins defeated Bethany Christian 2-0 in the championship of the Redskin Classic Saturday at Shanklin Park.
Goshen defeated Elkhart Christian Academy 6-0 in the first round.
Freshman Natalie Newell was the winning pitcher in both contests. She struck out five in the championship game and 14 in the other contest.

Concord JV wins
tournament at home
Concord defeated East Noble 4-3 in the finale of the Concord JV tourney Saturday.
Chaney was the winning pitcher and she had two hits.
Concord defeated Bremen 4-1 in the first round. Cartwright had a triple and single and Meyer a double and single for the winners. Chaney was the winning pitcher.

West Noble captures
JV title at Syracuse
West Noble was a 5-1 winner over Wawasee in the championship game of a JV tourney Saturday at Syracuse.
Reidenbach was the winning pitcher. Darcy and Gorman both had two hits for the winners. Angela Bartman had Wawasee’s lone hit.
Wawasee edged Plymouth 7-6 in the opening round. Ashlee Shepherd was the winning hurler. Bartman, Rachelle Abrams and Ashley Flores each had a hit and an RBI.
