Steve Austin in line to be new Concord coach

Steve Austin will be recommended as the new Concord High School boys basketball coach at Monday night’s school board meeting.
The former Northridge High School coach (1995-2006) has a 322-212 career record that includes 10 sectional championships, three regional titles and two Final Four appearances.
Austin is expected to replace Ryan Culp, who resigned after nine seasons. Culp complied a 118-81 record, winning two sectional titles and one Northern Lakes Conference championship.
