Freshman Ulrich fires 37 for Fairfield


Freshman Brian Ulrich carded a 37, leading Fairfield to Northeast Corner Conference wins over Prairie Heights and Central Noble Monday evening at Timber Ridge Golf Club.

Westview places 5th in Angola tourney


Westview placed fifth and Fairfield sixth in the Angola invitational Saturday at Zollner.
DeKalb was first with a team score of 313, followed by East Noble 327, Fremont 328, Angola (White) 335, Westview 337, Fairfield 339, Lakeland 345, Hamilton 357, Garrett 378, Angola (Purple) 380, Fort Wayne Concordia 388, West Noble 399, Central Noble 404 and Churubusco 439.
Ronnie Carlson of Fremont and Nick Kelly of DeKalb both carded 74s to lead individuals.
Matt Miller had 82, Ryan Singleton and Seth Wagler 83s, Colton Bushong 89 and Luke Hooley 91 for Westview.
Brian Ulrich had 77, David Stutzman 86, Brad Shipley 87, Wyatt Stutzman 89 and Clarke Kauffman 90 for Fairfield.
Cole Pechin had 84, Jordan McMaken 86, Davy Weaver 87, Jake O’Brian 88 and TJ Wesling 89 for Lakeland.
Jordan Ginsbach had 92, Zac Parr 96, Pat Hazelton 100 and Caleb Egolf 111 for West Noble.
