Concord softball girls defeat Lady Raiders

— Concord handled Northridge, 5-1, in a Northern Lakes Conference high school girls softball game Monday at Dunlap.
Courtney Cameron fired a three-hitter and struck out 11 for the win. Chelly Gaeddert had two hits for Concord, Andrea Pinarski a double and Kelsey Smucker two stolen bases.
Concord, 12-6 overall and 7-3 in the NLC, visits Elkhart Memorial on Wednesday.
Concord won the JV game, 5-3, with Andrea Bozo and Rylee Bowen among top hitters. Katelynn Chaney was the winning pitcher.
