Spring scramble opens season at Maplecrest

— A season-opening men’s spring golf scramble was held Sunday at Maplecrest Country Club on Hackett Road in Goshen.
Neal Yoder, Alan Boling, Steve Fidler and Don Mars formed the winning team. Second were Craig Miller, Bob Weiland, Rob Barker and Joerg Mueller.
Jack Guipe, Curt Yoder, Cal Zehr and John Putman shared third with Roy Bergman, Glen Yoder, Dave Jenkins and Galen Hershberger.
Closest to the pin on Par 3s were Bergman on No. 6, Chuck Hoogewerf on No. 8, Neil Graves on No. 12 and Craig Miller on 17.
