Wawasee is champ
The Wawasee Warriors won their own invitational Saturday by 12 strokes at South Shore.
Team scores were Wawasee 304, Northridge 316, Chesterton 324, Homestead 324, NorthWood 324, Lakeland 334, FW Northrop 340, Goshen 343, Manchester 350, Mishawaka 352, Columbia City 353, Whitko 360, Plymouth 368 and Elkhart Central 391.
Jordan Dawes of Wawasee and Nathan Smith of Northridge posted 73s; Curtis Coverstone of Wawasee 74; Eric Hartstein of NorthWood 75; Zac Henderson of Northridge 77; Rees Woodcock of Wawasee and Grant Sawyer of Homestead 78s; John Kirkwood of Wawasee and Kyle Gressel of Chesterton 79s; and Mike Jenkins of Wawasee 80.
Goshen scores were Diller 81, Chapman 86, Koronkiewicz 88, Bender 88 and Peters 89.
Other Northridge scores were Morrison 82, Long 84 and Roberts 90.
Other NorthWood scores were Klotz 82, Burkholder 83, Anglemyer 84 and Bough 95. Pechin and Wesling led Lakeland with 82s.Fairfield defeats pair
Fairfield (180) trimmed Hamilton (191) and Churubusco (231) at the Hidden Valley course Friday.
Falcon scores were Miles Kritzman 42, Spencer Crilow 46, David Stutzman 46, Brian Ulrich 46 and Brad Shipley 47.
