Falcons edge Warriors in NECC girls tennis sizzler

The Fairfield Falcons edged the Westview Warriors, 3-2, in a Northeast Corner Conference girls tennis showdown Thursday at Westview.
Freshman Abby Neff won at No. 2 singles for the Falcons; juniors Ashley Neff and Marla Yoder at No. 1 doubles, seniors Callie Beer and Kaci Stahly at No. 2.
Westview winners were junior Cathy Wingstrom at No. 1 singles and freshman Tabitha Lehman at No. 3.
Fairfield, 5-2 overall and 4-0 in the NECC, visits Central Noble today.
